My recent second-place win in a statewide photo contest hosted by Outdoor Idaho and Idaho Public Television is a reminder of why I do this: to preserve emotion and atmosphere in every frame. Whether I’m chasing the fading light across a barn roof or freezing a candid moment in black and white.
